Our October outing of 2010 took us to the excitingly challenging course at Glenisla Golf Club .

19 P.R.A.G.S. members took to the 1st tee at 11.00 am with Ian Rodney hitting
an excellent drive to get the day started.
We played 5x 3-balls & 2x 2-balls and played the usual stableford format.

Glenisla is a very picturesque course and some of the long holes presented a real challenge on the day. The 2 brutally long
par 5 holes 'The Whale' & 'The Monster' certainly lived up to their names.

After a highly enjoyable day, followed by a tasty meal , scores were tallied and a very creditable P.R.A.G.S win
for Erik Hayes with a stableford score of 38 points.
A tight finish for 2nd spot resulted in Simon Aisbitt taking runner-up spot with 37 points.

1st Place : Erik Hayes - 38 points
2nd Place : Simon Aisbitt - 37 points

We had the usual x 2 extra comptetions in addition to the main P.R.A.G.S. Trophy.

Nearest The Pin on the Par 3 - 5th : Antony Pleasance.
Longest Drive on the Par 4 - 10th hole : Tony Boon.

Also at Glenisla was the final round of the P.R.A.G.S .Champion Golfer of the Year ,
an eclectic competiton we run each year, with the best 4 stableford rounds to count.

3rd Place - ALAN WATT
